Mango Tango Lassi Recipe

Mango Tango Lassi

Cool down with a refreshing mango lassi, a yogurt-based drink that originated in India. To make it, combine frozen mango with evaporated milk, sorbet, yogurt and a little lime juice and brown sugar - and blend until smooth. It's good - and especially soothing - served with spicy food!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving: 4 cups ( 1 L)

Ingredients:

•   370 mL (1 can) Regular, 2% or Fat Free Evaporated Milk
•   250 mL (1 cup) Europe’s Best® Sunburst Mangoes
•   375 mL (1 1/2 cups) frozen mango gelato or sorbet, small scoops
•   125 mL (1/2 cup) mango or vanilla yogurt
•   30 mL (2 tbsp) lime or lemon juice
•   15 mL (1 tbsp) brown sugar

Preparation:


1.  In a blender, combine mango, evaporated milk, gelato, yogurt, lime juice and sugar.
2.  Process at high speed until smooth, pulsing a few times to break up pieces of fruit.

Tips:

•   Garnish with mint leaves.
