Ingredients:
• 500 mL (2 cups) Europe’s Best® Harvest Cranberries, frozen
• 1 L (4 cups) peeled, sliced apples
• 75 mL (1/3 cup) brown sugar
• 30 mL (2 tbsp) chopped candied ginger
Topping:
• 250 mL (1 cup) prepared dried breakfast cereal or granola
• 175 mL (3/4 cup) Robin Hood® or Old Mill® Oats
• 75 mL (1/3 cup) brown sugar
• 5 mL (1 tsp) ground cinnamon
• 75 mL (1/3 cup) butter, melted
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, combine Europe’s Best Harvest Cranberries, apples, sugar and ginger. Spoon into a greased 2 L (8-inch) square baking dish.
2. In the same bowl, combine cereal, oats and cinnamon. Pour over butter and toss to coat ingredients. Spoon mixture over fruit surface.
3. Bake in a preheated 180 °C (350 °F) oven for 55 to 60 minutes or until apples test done. If topping is browning too much, cover loosely with foil during last part of baking. Serve warm.
