Europe's Best Frozen Fruits and Vegetables

Mix & Bake Pizza

Serving: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

•   375 mL (1½ cups) Robin Hood® All Purpose Flour or Nutri™ Flour Blend
•   2 envelopes Fleischmann's® Instant Quick-Rise Yeast (2¼ tsp/11 mL each)
•   15 mL (1 tbsp) sugar
•   2 mL (½ tsp) garlic salt
•   175 mL (¾ cup) very warm Regular, 2% or Fat Free Carnation® Evaporated Milk (120°F-130°F/50°C-55°C)
•   50 mL (¼ cup) Crisco® Canola or Vegetable Oil
•   175 mL (¾ cup) mozzarella cheese, shredded
•   175 mL (¾ cup) crumbled feta cheese
•   15 mL (1 tbsp) Crisco Canola or Vegetable Oil
•   500 g (1 pkg) Europe's Best® Mediterranean Diced Delite® frozen vegetables
•   5 mL (1 tsp) Italian herb blend or Italian seasoning
•   5 mL (1 tsp) salt
•   1 mL (¼ tsp) pepper
•   175 mL (¾ cup) mozzarella cheese, shredded
•   2 mL (½ tsp) Italian herb blend or Italian seasoning

Preparation:

Batter:
1.  Grease an 8" x 8" (2 L) baking dish. Mix all ingredients in prepared dish.

Filling:
2.  Sprinkle batter with mozzarella, top with feta.
3.  Sauté vegetables, herb seasoning, salt and pepper in oil over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes or until vegetables have softened. Drain vegetables before placing them evenly on top of batter.

Topping:
4.  Sprinkle with mozzarella and herb topping.
5.  Bake by placing in a cold oven. Set temperature to 350ºF (180ºC); baking for 30-35 minutes or until baked through.

wonderfully easy--yet texture of crust was cakey new yeast ?? great idea will try again

The recipe looks like a great idea, but they didnt separate out the ingredients into batter filling and topping the way they have the other ones, making it hard to know what goes where. directions say mix all batter ingredients in prepared dish, but which ones are for batter? if anyone figures it out please let me know
